Found on Ancestry. Jared Starr (1835-1924) and his wife, Emma Ransom Hall (1834-1910). Jared attended Trinity College in Hartford, CT and graduated in 1856. He is listed on censuses starting in 1860 as a farmer and then in 1900 as a preacher. Apart from the different clothes and hairstyles I find these portraits quite modern in attitude. Jared is my 5th cousin 5x removed. They must have witnessed some interesting changes as their lives spanned the 19th to 20th centuries.
